From 27 January to 13 June 2021, the PALP Palazzo Pretorio in Pontedera becomes a playful and colourful universe, destined to welcome many families and game enthusiasts. In fact, the exhibition I Love Lego is on, promoted by the Cultural Foundation of Pontedera and organized by Piuma in collaboration with Arthemisia. The initiative is part of "Art for not sleeping: - Pontedera and Beyond XXI Century", a composite contemporary art project directed by Alberto Bartalini.

The exhibition boasts over 1,000,000 modules of the very famous LEGO brand, which has fascinated and entertained entire generations around the world, since its birth in the 1930s. The multi-coloured bricks are arranged in ingenious combinations to form modern metropolises, ancient monuments, medieval scenarios or futuristic visions. The PALP comes alive with imagination, creativity and desire to dream, precious values in everyone's life, especially in this precise historical moment. Alongside the 7 spectacular dioramas built with the help of collectors, the exhibition hosts many unpublished installations, evidence of how much Lego has become part of everyday life and is capable of real forms of art.

To anticipate the essence of the exhibition, you find the Testa di LEGO (LEGO Head) by Marco Lodola, in Piazza Curtatone and Montanara, aimed to remain a permanent installation in Pontedera. Within the PALP, it is necessary to respect the distances and the obligation of the mask for the entire duration of the visit.
